She said: “I lost 64lb, or 28kg, 10 years ago after 27 years of dieting and I ended up ‘very concerned’ in my GP’s words.
“Now I help other women achieve long-term weight loss results. I had a diet for decades, I didn’t eat, I tried all the methods of fashion, I see food as ‘god’ or ‘evil’, and I fall on the wagon.
“When I was 39, I decided I was done with diets and started making small lifestyle changes instead of other diets.
“I have found, personally and professionally, that nutrition is more important than exercise in the weight loss journey, if you don’t eat right your body will not burn fat, no matter how much you exercise , and when women enter menopause. -exercise can cause a lot of problems with stree/hormonal imbalances, and can actually make them gain weight. bodies.
“Personally, I hated exercise and it’s only since my weight loss and pain-free journey that I’ve developed a love for it.”
Ever since her passion for fitness, Naomi enjoys hiking, weight training, running, paragliding and everything in between.
But this new appreciation wouldn’t have come without improving her diet, as well as challenging the misconceptions she had about food.
“My main nutritional strategies were increasing protein and getting enough water (I now have electrolytes every day to compensate for the salt and minerals lost in my body, ” said Naomi.

The slimmer completely stopped dieting, arguing that quick fixes of this kind give only temporary results.
Apart from drinking alcohol, Naomi refused to give up her favorite foods.

“What I’ve learned is to think about why I want certain foods and not give in to the first thought I have about it.

“The biggest challenge for me and all the women I work with is old attitudes and beliefs about diet/weight/diet from misinformation/miseducation over the years.

Another great lesson the slimmer has learned is to act quickly to see change.
“You don’t have to wait for a new week or a new year to start making better decisions,” he shared.
“I teach my clients to make a pivot at any time of the day if they have made a choice that doesn’t feel aligned with their goals, you can restructure old patterns and habits that are deeply ingrained.”
